GE Energy Smart™ Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs use less energy, last longer than regular incandescent bulbs

Cleveland, OH -- GE Energy Smart™ Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs are ENERGY STAR® qualified and offer consumers great benefits. In general, Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs) use 70-75% less energy than standard incandescent bulbs and last 8 to 10 times longer. Consumers can save money by using CFLs instead of incandescent light bulbs. Taking into consideration initial purchase price, replacement cost and energy cost, CFLs are much less expensive.*

Most compact fluorescent lamps provide the same amount of light (lumens) as their incandescent counterparts, while consuming one-third to one-fourth the amount of energy. Consumers can count on a flicker-free start and soft white color to make surroundings look pleasing to the eye.

GE compact fluorescent lamp bulbs come in convenient sizes that fit most standard applications.
