LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – GE Monogram® built-in side-by-side refrigerators have always made an exquisite statement of beauty and craftsmanship, but the newest collection demonstrates that what's inside can be equally outstanding. Every model—including custom, integrated and professional styles—has been completely redesigned with brighter, more usable interior space.
Maximum Visibility and Storage Capacity
Extensive changes were made to almost every square inch of the interior from top to bottom for a brilliant and refreshingly innovative approach to refrigeration:
• Three halogen light columns—two in the fresh food compartment—extend the full length of the interior cabinet.
• Recessed LED lighting at the top of the fresh food compartment and inside the high-humidity and climate-control drawers illuminates contents.
• Slimmer control panel allows placement of tall containers on the top shelf.
• Adjustable, spill-proof glass shelves easily accommodate platters and pizza boxes.
• Drop-down shelf provides additional space for a party tray or casserole dish.
• Gallon-size door bin holds up to three gallon-size containers.
• Adjustable door bins can be moved to one of two positions in seven locations.
• Two-compartment dairy bin has a unique magnetic seal that locks in freshness.
• Adjustable deli drawer on full-extension slides keeps meats, cheeses and other foods within easy reach.
• Advanced temperature-management system with overhead evaporator and multi-shelf air tower allows precise, independent cooling of the fresh food and freezer compartments.
• Exclusive climate-control drawer precisely chills wines in minutes, thaws meats in hours and helps preserve a variety of fresh foods.
• GE SmartWater™ filter is located in the overhead cabinet, where it is discreetly out of sight and out of the way of storage compartments.
Beautifully Styled Exteriors
A choice of styles, sizes (48-inches, 42-inches and 36-inches) and finishes ensures there's a refrigerator to ideally complement every kitchen décor. An optional extra-tall dispenser with proximity sensor lights up as a person approaches and switches off automatically as they walk away. A smooth, solid panel replaces the vented toekick on earlier models.
The estimated retail price of Monogram built-in side-by-side refrigerators will range from $5599–$8,999* and will be available in May. These models are ENERGY STAR® qualified.
