America's Smartest Dishwasher Now with Steam Pre-wash

Deep Steam-Cleaning Benefits Lead to Second Generation of SmartDispense™ — the GE Profile™ SmartDispense™ II Dishwasher

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — Steam pre-wash now adds even more cleaning power to the second generation of the GE Profile™ Dishwasher with SmartDispense™ technology — a dishwasher that already stores the contents of an entire 47-ounce bottle of liquid or gel detergent, dispensing based on water hardness, cycle selection, and soil level of dishes.

Incorporating steam into this advanced dishwashing system, GE's dishwasher now offers a DeepClean™ cycle SmartDispense™ II technology. The program uses steam pre-wash to help rid dishes of difficult messes, such as starches, eggs, rice, peanut butter and oatmeal. There is also a steam pre-wash cycle enhancement that helps to pre-wash dishes to loosen tough soils and prepare them for the main wash. Steam pre-wash cycle enhancement can also be used with any cycle and is automatically selected with the DeepClean™ cycle.

The only dishwasher on the market with this technology, SmartDispense™ allows for dispensing detergent throughout the wash cycle. By pairing SmartDispense technology with the BrilliantClean™ towerless wash system with CleanSensor™, the dishwasher is able to sense details about every load, adjusting cycle time and water temperature to get dishes remarkably clean.

Available with top controls, that are elegantly hidden from view, or a sleek front control panel, the dishwasher is available in stainless steel, black or white finishes, or in a custom-panel-ready model.

Top-control models include PDWT580 and PDWT500 that come in stainless steel, black and white and a customizable version.
