Lynn S. Pendergrass was named the President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Consumer & Industrial, Americas in November of 2005. In this role, she has direct responsibility for all commercial related activities for appliances, lighting and industrial products throughout North America and profit and loss responsibilities including manufacturing and technology for all activities within the Americas, a $10.5 billion revenue business.
Pendergrass has been with GE for 19 years, beginning her career in sourcing and engineering roles and spending the majority of her career in sales, product and brand management. Most recently, she served as the Vice President of Marketing and Product Management and was responsible for integrating marketing efforts on all of Consumer & Industrial's key commercial processes including product launches, product competitiveness and driving product line profitability.
Pendergrass earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville and then earned her M.S. degree also from the University of Louisville.
Pendergrass and her two children are residents of Louisville, KY.
